About the Qualtone Group

Ian Young established the beginnings of the Qualtone Group Pty Ltd in 1969.

He originally started serving the local community of Mitcham in the Whites Shopping Centre. It wasn’t until the 1980s that he moved the business to our current address at 501 Mitcham Road, Mitcham.

In 1981 Ian decided to start serving  the people of Geelong – Geelong Hearing Aid Services was born, Initaly offering appointments at Pardeys Pharmacy in Belmont. It was a few years after that, that he started seeing the good people of Geelong  at 454 LaTrobe Terrace and now we opperate out of Shop 1/33 Thomson Street, Belmont.

Since then, we have grown and now offer services in many more convenient locations such as a home visiting service to the Clayton & SE Suburbs. In clinic options in the Melbourne CBD, Greenvale  and Wantirna South . We offer Home/Nursing Home visits upon request for those who find it difficult to attend the clinic (Call out fee applies)

We offer a high quality range of services, from comprehensive hearing assessments through to fitting and maintenance of hearing aids and connectivity accessories. Our aftercare service is second to none.
